The start-up Zozio works with L’Oréal to ensure inventory and logistic flow management in its factories of Vichy and La Roche-Posay.
Selected by Challenges magazine as one of 100 start-ups to invest in, start-up Zozio announces the successful deployment of its inventory & flow optimization solution at L’Oréal, a world leader in beauty industry.
The solution has been installed in 2020 in L’Oréal’s two Cosmétique Active Division factories, located in Vichy and La Roche-Posay.
Thus, Zozio provides to Cosmétic Active Division of L’Oréal technological expertise in terms of flow optimization and inventory management.
L’Oréal’s Cosmétique Active Production industrial sites called on Zozio, the Paris-based start-up, with the objective of optimizing flows within and in transit between its Vichy and La Roche-Posay plants. In its quest for operational excellence and in response to environmental challenges, L’Oréal chose Zozio to improve the logistics of its fixed and mobile tanks.
To meet the needs of Active Cosmetics Division, Zozio implemented its solution to collect, visualize and analyze field data connected to the plant software.
With all key information on a single ergonomic platform, the customer benefits from
Zozio’s team installs an IoT system, based on Ultra Wideband geolocation technology, in a few hours to retrieve information on the actual flow of industrial equipment.
The system then retrieves information from plant management software (ERP, WMS, etc.) to enrich its platform with information needed by the end user.
Thus, the platform gives employees a global vision of the production. With this clear vision, Zozio allows to optimize stocks and flows in real time.
Beyond the logistics flows optimization and through the traceability within the factory, the Zozio solution also facilitates operators’ and managers’ daily work. Employees have immediate access to data on the status, location and history of tank movements from the ergonomic platform.
A true digital companion, Zozio simplifies the employee’s day on several levels:
« With Zozio, the manufacturing assistant, the manufacturer and the packaging technician gain in quality of life at work. »
– Faustine Liabastres, Performance Manager of Active Cosmetics Division of l’Oréal.
Indeed, the platform is very easy to use and “has been integrated very simply by all colleagues of the two factories Vichy and La Roche-Posay of Cosmétique Active Production”, adds Jean-Yves Larraufie, Managing Director of Active Cosmetics Division of l’Oréal.
« We are very pleased with the success of the digitalized piloting of the manufacturing tanks on the Vichy and La Roche-Posay sites, and we thank L’Oréal for having trusted us. We are ready to accompany them on other industrial sites,” says Bastien Triclot, CEO of Zozio. »
